AC Shadows Reveals Surprising AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a unexpected collaboration that breaks usual expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Adventure Revealed
According to the official release, "An unusual meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where hints of banned ceremonies and fearsome metamorphoses echo through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden cult.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Bonus Features
Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an special katana in addition to multiple artifacts secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
